Responsibilities:
. Daily cash reconciliation
. AP data entry
. Job costing
. Inventory management (tracing, tracking, distribution, sales entry
. Shipping logistics ( cold storage, trucking, ocean freight)
. Domestic and foreign customs is critical
. Basic accounting knowledge (Quickbooks is used)
. Attention to details is mandatory
. Medium to high knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
. Good basic computer skills
. Networking knowledge is a plus
. Marine fuel dock, on occasion, as needed
Working Environment:
This is a wholesale seafood company and as such, the environment can be fast paced and occasionally physically demanding. Fishing is a seasonal business, so working conditions can fluctuate between crazy busy and dead quiet.
April to November is the busy season. Dec to March is clean up, catch up and year end.
Additional Info:
. Basic office hours are 8:00-5:00 Mon-Friday, however no one leaves the office until jobs are up to date.
. Weekends are as required at certain times.
. Annual holidays are granted between Dec and March annually
